Gloria Monday’s October Thursday Fundraiser

8 Oct 2026, 7:45pm start
Nether Edge Bowling Club

Kate Green & Raymond Greenoaken

Two of our oldest music friends, Kate is a terrific singer whether she is interpreting classic folk songs or singing her own compositions. Raymond plays more instruments than we can count, sometimes more than one at a time. Their musicianship and self-effacing charm are always a delight.

Kate and Raymond are going west, quite a long way to Ireland, so we won’t be seeing them in Sheffield so often. This might be your last chance to see them here for quite a while.

There will be a second Guest, details here shortly

Plus your resident Orchestra of Truth, Gloria Monday.

All proceeds this month will go to Men Actually Talking Together (MATT), a mental health charity based at Rotherham Rugby Club and run by one of our staunch supporters, Tony Clabby. We are returning to our old practice of supporting a variety of smaller local charities, who really appreciate and can make good use of the relatively modest funds we can raise for them.

Rethink Mental Illness runs the Sheffield Crisis House, offering 24 hour residential support for people experiencing acute mental health crisis. This short term but very focused intensive support can turn around the lives of people experiencing profound difficulties and distress.
